Amazing food and great experience!
Everything we ordered was delicious — the mixed grill was perfectly seasoned, the falafel was crispy and fresh, and the appetizers were full of flavor. The desserts were cold, asked the lady to warm it up, the staff were friendly, and the whole meal felt homemade and authentic. Definitely one of my favorite spots now — highly recommend!

Wow wow wow where do I start………..
The owner Ahmad Aspasia is so kind, funny and hospitable. It was my cousin and I’s first time here and we’ve been dying to find an authentic middle Easter place in Tucson, and I’d say we found it! We ordered two platters and tabbouleh salad which were all delicious! The owner was so sweet and surprised us with some of the most fresh and flavorful baklava we’ve ever had! We will definitely be back & cant recommend enough!

Too loud. Food was cold, too much rice on the plate with 8 small pieces of chicken, rice had hard chunks as if it had been sitting all day. Tiny bowls with veggies, would've liked more to balance the meal. Samosas were good. Server and his associates were nice.

As a young boy I spent a good deal of time at the El Morocco restaurant and night club in Worcester MA (long story 😉). My favorite meal there as an 8-9 yo was kibbeh and I hadn't had it since... until I encountered Aspasia Mediterranean. Their kibbeh is slightly different than what I enjoyed at El Morocco in that it's fried in a crispy batter but it's still the delicious mix of Mediterranean spices and well cooked ground lamb I remember. Excellent! The pistachio baklava was also excellent. If you've not experienced Mediterranean food, don't miss Aspasia Mediterranean!

The best Middle Eastern restaurant in Tucson. Family run, the staff is warm and very accommodating. 100% Halal. We ordered the beef and chicken shawarma wraps and loved them. We have been here many times and will continue to frequent this establishment. For larger groups, the mega mixed platter is recommended! The workers are also flexible with customization of orders if asked.

# Google Review for Aspasia Mediterranean
**★★★★★ 5/5 stars**
What an incredible surprise this turned out to be! I decided to treat my family to something different, and Aspasia Mediterranean absolutely delivered beyond our expectations.
The chicken kebab was perfectly grilled with that beautiful char on the outside while remaining tender and juicy inside. Every bite was bursting with Mediterranean flavors that had us all reaching for more. The chicken shawarma was equally impressive – the meat was seasoned to perfection and had that authentic taste we've been searching for in our area.
But let's talk about that hummus! This wasn't your typical store-bought variety. It was creamy, rich, and had that genuine homemade quality that paired beautifully with the warm pita bread. You could tell it was made fresh with quality ingredients.
What really stood out was how the entire family – including our pickiest eaters – were completely enchanted by every dish. The kids were actually asking for seconds, which never happens when we try new cuisines!
The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service made us feel like honored guests. The staff clearly takes pride in sharing authentic Mediterranean flavors with their community.
Aspasia Mediterranean has earned a permanent spot on our family's rotation. We're already planning our next visit to explore more of their menu. Highly recommend to anyone looking for genuine, delicious Mediterranean food that will leave your whole family impressed!

I lived in the Middle East and love the cuisine. I have been to most of the restaurants in town focused on Mediterranean cuisine, but the is the first time I felt compelled to write a review. The food was great. My wife and I were stopping in for a quick bite so we limited our order to wraps and fries. Wow, what a surprise! I can't begin to count all the Gyros, Shawarma and pita wraps I've had. But the Chicken Tawouk wrap was not only the best Chicken Tawouk wrap I've ever had, it was the best of any type of wrap I've ever had. My wife had the Lamb Gyro wrap and found the seasoning to be "amazing" and the pistachio baklava was "mouthwatering." We also took a Lamb Kebab wrap home and it was great. The garlic sauce was deliciously balanced and the tzatziki perfect. There was another sauce served that neither of us cared for but we have no comment on how good or bad it was - it simply was not to our liking.
Some might fault the service that night. It was far from Service a la Russe, but the two staff who were there that night worked very hard to keep up and were extremely gracious.
We definitely plan to return and warmly invite others to savor the flavor at Aspasia.
